Third at the Swisscup in Basel
For the first time this season, we won a 1/4 final. The win only became reality with the last stone of a close game against Baden Regio (Toni Müller).
With that we qualified for the Semifinals, to be held on Monday morning.
Here we came across the Swedish Olympic Team of Niklas Edin again. Up and until the 5th end we very much dominated the game and lay ahead by 5 to 3. But then - in the 6th and 7th ends - the Swedes scored 3 and stole 2, to get an unassailable lead of 5 to 8. That means we unfortunately missed moving on to the final against Norway (Ulsrud).
But we still get to look back on a successful weekend in Arlesheim. We would like to thank the organisers warmly for again hosting a perfect tournament with great ice.

Direct qualification for the 1/4 finals of the Swisscup in Basel
As in Baden an Oslo we also qualified for the 1/4 finals in Arlesheim.
With 4 wins against Norway, Holland, Uitikon and Sweden we took the shortest possible route to the 1/4 finals.
We don't know yet, whom we will be playing on Sunday 15.45. But we are looking forward to playing on the ice, which has a strong swing.
