We reached Moncton safe and sound, but 8 hours later than planned and via a long detour.
What a journey! Having reached Montreal without difficulties we were told on checking in for our continuation flight that it had been cancelled because of snowstorms in Moncton.
We then had to collect our luggage and sort out another flight. Since all services to Moncton were totally booked out until Thursday, Air Canada put us on a flight to Fredericton. Having waited quite a while for our plane, which was delayed, we finally made it to Fredericton - 8 hours late.
Although we were greeted there by cold weather and heavy snow we nonetheless decided to drive out to Moncton that night. Our chauffeurs managed that brilliantly.
After a few hours’ sleep we’re now getting ready for the first training session.
