Three wins and one close loss on the last weekend of the qualifying rounds

me. For the third time running we finished the preliminary rounds of the Swiss Curling League (SCL) at the top of the standings with 14 wins and one loss.

The third and last weekend of the SCL was also crowned by success. After beating Adelboden, we suffered our first loss of the qualifying rounds on Friday evening against Team Schwaller. The late game (ending after midnight) went to extra ends.

On Saturday afternoon we beat the reigning Swiss Champions St. Gallen decisively in 6 ends. The day continued with the last game against the Swiss representatives at the European Championships, St. Moritz. We won a very close game with the last stone (a draw).

We now take half the points from the qualifying rounds to the finals. That gives us a 2 point advantage on Baden-Regio, 4 points on St. Moritz, St. Gallen and Glarus and 7 points on GC, Zug 1 and Uitikon.

The last two teams to take part in the finals still have to be determined in a tiebreak round. We will have a lead of 8 points on these.

The new year continues, as the last ended…

… with another 5 wins, we are still top of the Swiss Curling League

After a successful end to the old year, we remain unbeaten in the new year. Wining 5 times (against Bern-Zähringer, GC, Uitikon Waldegg, Geneva and Glarus) we defended our lead in the Swiss Curling League and have prematurely qualified for the SCL-Finals in Bern.

In two weeks time, we play the last four rounds of qualifying in Bern against Adelboden, Baden-Regio, St. Gallen and St. Moritz.
