Thumbs down for us at the European Championship trials
Following on from Black Friday, the last round robin game fared no better. A clear defeat sealed the brutal knock-out at the hands of St. Moritz.
The final 'best of three' is decided between St. Moritz and St. Gallen. We congratulate both teams on qualifying for the final and wish them 'guet Stai'.
Warmest congratulations to the teams from St. Moritz and Davos for their well-earned European Championship qualifications. We wish them all the luck in the world at the Europeans in Sweden.

Black Friday
Friday’s first game against St. Moritz was lost when the very last stone missed by just a few millimetres.
In our second game against St. Gallen Bär we never got in front. In the eighth end we came close to a ‘Big End’, but – alas – it was not to be and the contest was over after nine ends.
Things were no better against Schwaller. This unbelievable match, with over 15 pics on both sides, ended up as a kind of lottery. The upshot was that we lost this one as well and are now in third place before the last round.
Only if we win against St. Moritz and if St. Gallen Bär simultaneously lose against Baden can we reach the tiebreak.
