For the fourth time in a row, we completed the Round Robin of the Swiss Curling League in 1st place
With four more victories against Thun-Kyburg, Glarus, St. Moritz and
Baden-Regio as well as a clear defeat at the hands of the immensely strong team from Adelboden we came out of the 2009/2010 Swiss Championship qualifying matches as the undisputed leaders with 13 victories and just 2 defeats.
Over the last four seasons (since the team has been playing in its current formation) we have won 55 out of a total of 60 qualifying matches.
Regrettably, SCA Regulations make it impossible for us to defend our last year's title since we are already flying off to Canada for the Precamp on 3rd February.
We wish all the qualified teams a successful Swiss Championship: and may the best team win!

What a day!
We couldn’t be more delighted! Today, at the headquarters of Rivella in Rothrist, we received our full official kit for the Winter Olympics. Wow! We feel as if it’s Christmas, Easter and birthday – all rolled into one! Apart from capacious travel luggage, handy backpacks and carry-ons, we’re presented with socks, shoes, trousers, T-shirts, sweaters, jackets, track suits, our playing outfits, gloves, caps, a first aid kit and a host of other bits and pieces.
Our team thinks that the Olympics Collection is a total success and we are thrilled to be able to take this gear to Canada in February.
In fact, this special day also marks the official start of our Olympics mission. Before setting off for Winnipeg on 3rd February, we will be playing the third part of the NLA this coming weekend. Then comes another week of intensive training in Switzerland before we set off for Canada. The Precamp takes place in Morris (Winnipeg, CAN) between 3rd and 10th February. On 11th February we then fly on to Vancouver where we will move into our new accommodation in the Athletes’ Village.
What an exciting month ahead! We have the best possible gear, we’re well prepared and we’re ready to go!
